Traffic Update: Interstate 30/SH 360 Interchange Project

New lane closures have been announced as part of the $233 million Interstate 30/SH 360 Interchange Project.

Starting at 8 a.m. April 2nd, eastbound and westbound Lamar Boulevard/Avenue H approaching and through State Highway 360 will be reduced to one through lane and will maintain a shortened left turn lane for median crossover construction and general construction.

Arlington Once Again Recognized for Traffic Safety Programs

In 2015, 22 people were killed or fatally injured on Arlington roadways. Thirteen drivers, seven pedestrians, a bicyclist and a 5-year-old passenger lost their lives in traffic accidents. Many of those deaths could have been prevented. The drivers involved were intoxicated, distracted or driving aggressively in all but two of the crashes.
